Our History​

Trina’s Rock Shop was a lapidary and gift shop located just south of Deming, NM for 12 years. We were in an area nicknamed “Rockhounder’s Paradise” due to being riddled with over 60 rock hunting sites in a 50 mile radius of town. We were a REAL rock shop (dubbed so by our customers), not only offering rough rock, slabs, finished pieces and lapidary supplies, but also custom services and classes in Lapidary, Wire-wrapping, Wire Weaving, and Chain Maille Jewelry.

 

For 12 years we were located at 1812 Columbus Rd on the southside of Deming, just 2 tenths of a mile past Florida Street.

Due to Jeff's health issues, we are now an online store only and do a couple of Rock Shows a year. We are hoping to continue having classes in lapidary and jewelry making in the future, but currently they are on hold. Custom lapidary work is also on hold until we are able to get our lapidary shop setup, which may take a few months. Custom jewelry is still available.
