Our white onyx sometimes has a hidden surprise. It is not always white inside after cutting it. After being collected and sitting in the rock yard for over 20 years, it has been bleached out by the hot New Mexican sun. So, it may actually be honey onyx and not a solid white or white banded onyx. Honey onyx comes from the Tres Hermanas Mountains in Luna County.
